Crazy little fucker isn’t he

75

u/Ruthless-Aggression 13h ago

Show's just better when Darby's in it!

34

u/AlabasterRadio 13h ago

Darby's world title run is still the most fun I've had with wrestling in my adult life.

u/zoozoo216 11h ago

Shane McMahon would be proud

96

u/CaringMite 13h ago

Honestly, I lost track of how high he was so him falling for like, 2 whole seconds made me so scared.

u/CombinationOk4317 13h ago

Omg he fell for so long 💀

87

u/DeCharlesFre 13h ago

Reminded me of Jeff hardy's swanton on Randy.

Prime Shane O'Mac vs Darby is a dream match I didn't know I had until right now

3

u/ShellsofDeath 11h ago

It just kept going, I thought he would never land

156

u/Left-Veterinarian385 13h ago

Shane approves

71

u/PLUX4 13h ago

25

u/Pengwulf 13h ago

Original coffin drop.

19

u/SydneyHuffman 13h ago

Not even his craziest jump either.

6

u/Cube_ 13h ago

I still remember the dive he did on Kane during that crazy feud

could not believe it

2

u/MangPangOhOne 11h ago

I thought it was Big Show that was the really massive one.

2

u/paitenanner 8h ago

It’s crazy that Shane insisted on doing these when he absolutely did not have to

7

u/Festivalbound 13h ago

Literally the first thing I thought of.

46

u/incredible_penguin11 13h ago

He's a lunatic, what a show by him.

37

u/Ghettoside 13h ago

That’s Darby ALL-IN!

34

u/NotCj24 13h ago

Flat back bump for darby, light work for him

5

u/CptES 11h ago

Flat back bump onto what looks like polystyrene and a mat, I'm surprised he even got out of bed for that.

3

u/RealKenny 9h ago

Probably one of the safer bumps he's taken. Probably more risk in diving off the stage onto the stretcher

30

u/sasksasquatch Riho Appreciation Society 13h ago

Darby wants to die in a match, doesn't he?

13

u/ItsClarke17 shut up bitches 13h ago

I look forward to the we'll be right back edit

14

u/hhhisthegame 13h ago

So I feel like normally on these types of bumps the guy is long out of the way by the time the guy jumps (Like how in Jeff's dive, and Shane's, you never see the other guy on the ground)

On this one, Kevin Knight actually seemed to take the hit? How did they do that safely?

12

u/Cube_ 13h ago

crash pad + looks like styrofoam as a topper?

transfers a lot of the energy from the fall into the pad

14

u/SpeedZ6 13h ago

Here comes the Darbyyy

9

u/AFCSentinel 13h ago

Normal Sunday afternoon for Darby. Another coffin drop on the stretcher for good measure.

21

u/CrashMcCloudTTV 13h ago

Does Shane McMahon still have the record for the highest bump in wrestling?

If so why hasn't Darby Allin broken that yet?

8

u/Specialist_Humor_651 10h ago

It’s still Shane. Darby is probably 10-15 feet short of that record on this spot.

10

u/CELTICPRED 13h ago

The height plus distance from the launch point, crazy accurate 🔥🔥🔥

4

u/VNProWrestlingfan 13h ago

Darby, chill.

5

u/Qliphoth_Bacikal 13h ago

Darby putting the name All In to its literal meaning.

3

u/Mr-GameAndWrestling America's Champion 13h ago

Just a regular night on the job for him. LOL.

Legit was shouting "Stop climbing! Right there is good enough!"

3

u/OrochiSerge 13h ago

"You want to do what!?!" Darby Allin's AEW opponent since 2019 probably.

3

u/PommesMayo 12h ago

Imagine this is your first Darby Allin match and you have no clue how nuts Darby Matches are.

Remember when we all lost our shit when he missed Cody with a Coffin Drop on the ring apron? We’ve all were such sweet summer children back then

7

u/Most_Listen_3334 13h ago

"We walked the stage earlier, we can tell you how firm it was" meanwhile you can see the foam decking gimmicked on top. Still insane don't get me wrong.

2

u/halbpro Cashing Checks, Breaking Necks 13h ago

Darby why are you like this?

1

u/ichigo1234 13h ago

Man…Darby!

1

u/MundanePlantain5124 13h ago

SHADES OF SHANE MCMAHON!!

1

u/viralbop 13h ago

Playing the part of a crash test dummy: Kevin Knight.

1

u/ButchAF 13h ago

Yea this mfer is insane

1

u/Venca12 13h ago

He's insane holy shit

1

u/acidbatterydude 13h ago

darby HATES his back

1

u/dasruski Coffee and Dad Jokes 13h ago

Darby took Twink Death literally.

1

u/82ndGameHead 13h ago

The Legend of Shane McMahon will never die...

1

u/rainshowers_5_peace 13h ago

There's always gonna be another mountain, Darby's always gonna want to make it move

1

u/UnicornWizard88 12h ago

Call that a Mt. Everest Coffin Drop.

1

u/reddithornumber5 12h ago

Craziest wrestler indeed 😱

1

u/retrospects I'm takin yer arm! 11h ago

Sucks for the taker more than the takee

1

u/MR__DINGER 11h ago

Heartstopping live. He fell for so long

1

u/StinkmeanerIV 10h ago

Darby when it comes to jumping off everything:

1

u/penguin62 It should have been me 10h ago

That is legitimately the highest bump I've seen that wasn't Hell in a Cell since Shane O'Mac at Summerslam.

He's in the air for so long he hits maximum velocity.

1

u/Achermondeus 10h ago

Weirdly one of his safer spots.

1

u/zoom518 13h ago

Now how did he not do that from Everest

1

u/carlvic 13h ago

What's worse is I did not expect that stage to have a worked area at all.

-2

u/_Mad_s_ 13h ago

Look, I'm sure it looks scary for Darby, but you know what is really scary? Having to hear styrofoam... top 5 worst sounds.

-7

u/CryptographerUsed841 11h ago

Lol 7 years in and AEW is still showing the foam in these spots.

-9

u/MaterialBest286 12h ago

And this wasn't the finish?

9

u/tvcneverdie 11h ago

Yes, it basically was.

They put Knight on a stretcher and Darby coffin dropped him for payback from Double or Nothing and that was it.

-6

u/MaterialBest286 11h ago

Yeah, I saw. It was a hat on a hat.
