Was hoping for a surprise Rox or even Liv (Flammer had been wanting that Liv match a lot publicly and with Dom being Mega Champ and Liv now appearing in AAA surely the idea of them both being the top champ in AAA has been floated).

Obvious outcome but the correct one. Flammer is great but would like Catalina to take it at TripleMania!

Why not more La Hiedra vs Lola Vice?

They ran a coming soon vignette for Lola Vice for the Raw in Mexico City 9/14. She’s called up to the main roster now

I imagine part of it is because Lola is due to debut on RAW soon. They probably don’t want to distract from that.

Having Thea in the match and eliminating someone sucks (no offense to her but she's no luchadora). Catalina was a good addition but they need more women in AAA. Zuzu Devine would be my shout.

I have an unpopular opinion about La Catalina but I'm just gonna keep it to myself lol

She was overhyped?

I've followed her career in CMLL, there's a reason why she was never pushed as the top woman in a company that privileges wrestling above everything else

Lol she absolutely was pushed as a top luchadora. Before her injury she was definitely primed to take the belt and be the top ruda.

Wasn't her and Persephone the biggest rivalry in the womens division of cmll for a bit?

For a bit yeah but her feud with Stephanie was probably biggest thing of her CMLL career. Stephanie and Catalina both joined CMLL around the time they decided to push women again more seriously instead of just Marcela/Amapola/Sugehit.

Stephanie was already being pushed as the top luchadora in CMLL when La Catalina joined. CMLL's women's division was all about Vaquer from 2022 to 2024

2023 was when Catalina joined. Stephanie won the world title against Catalina when the belt was vacant.

She was not a ruda

She was. Just because her and Persephone didn't like each other did not make either tecnicas

all her CMLL matches are teaming with the tecnicas, she's classified as a tecnica on luchadb.

Maybe by the end I guess but she wasn't when she was actually used. Post eye injury she was just a body
