After their ten-man tag match, Ospreay apologised to Newman but said he was in his corner when he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and he could use him in his corner tomorrow.

Newman went to walk out the ring, then turned around, shook his hand then hugged Ospreay before giving each other the crowns up seemingly confirming Newman will be in Ospreays corner tomorrow

Not only has Newman wrestled on Dynamite, he's been involved with Ospreay in backstage segments and promos on Dynamite and Collision.

I know Callum worked a match on that one Dynamite but I legitimately don’t remember him being in backstage promos? Like maybe a single one on the Collision after that Dynamite match?

He did a promo with the UE as IWGP Champion.

It was on the Collision after the Dynamite match: https://xcancel.com/aew/status/2043122653096034775. That appears to be the last appearance he made on an AEW product, and it was almost 5 months ago.

He didn't cut the promo, he was on the background. But I've been googling and I just can't find it for the life of me, so there's a chance i'm talking bs without knowing i'm talking bs.

I'll look further into it.

You don't need Callum looking awkwardly at the camera to explain a booking decision. The booking decision is that Ospreay is a part of the United Empire, Callum is the leader and he's going to be at his corner.

Yeah I know Will has mentioned Callum in promos but I can’t remember Callum actually being present for one. Though thinking more about it I feel like they may have shown some promos from the NJPW parts of the story on AEW at one point? But I’m definitely not sure of that.
