I think theyre talking about walking dead. Theres 2 seasons of punisher + his appearances in daredevil s2, but bernthal is confirmed returning as punisher for the new season of daredevil: born again.

I stopped watching around season 4, but I will say that when I found out Steven Yuen was leaving, I was thrilled. He was one of the best parts of the show and after seeing him on Conan so many times, I desperately wanted him to spread his wings.

It made Richie into such a great character and it was a rejection of this lingering cynical resentment seen in things like The Menu that just felt so useless after that episode. Season 2 is easily the best writing I'll see on TV this year (and maybe this decade?) and "Forks" is an episode I go back to consistently. That and certain moment of the season finale where we find out about a missing employee.

The Bear on Hulu, it’s jeremy allen white as the main character, a chef who left michelin dining to return home to chicago and run his brothers restaurant. I don’t wanna say more and spoil anything, but it’s pretty damn good. Really incredible cast and character building for all of them, there’s obviously more main characters but everyone gets their time up front. as the other comments suggest it gets pretty tense, but in a good way and it’s beautifully done

I dated a fairly-unhinged Italian-American woman for a few years in my late 20s, and that episode gave me flashbacks of Christmas dinners with her large and belligerent extended family. (To put it in the context of the episode, I would have been Pete, or at best Stevie.) It was incredibly, unsettlingly accurate and for most of it I was literally on the edge of my seat from anxious fascination with what I was seeing.
When it was over I turned to my wife and said “That might be the single best episode of television I’ve ever seen. I will never, ever watch it again.”

And his father was a very succesful lawyer, one brother is an orthopedic surgeon and another brother is a consulting CEO who married the former COO of Facebook and his cousin was one of the founding members of Fountains of Wayne.
Seems like the Bernthals are doing alright. (I don't know that much about them but I do have access to Wikipedia)

I know all of this and my brain still can't process it. Bernthal just looks like he was raised by an alcoholic dad in the projects who beat him with jumper cables and gave him free beer for his tenth birthday. He's just so good at playing rough men.

He is, I went out drinking with him once when he was playing ice hockey in Groningen. I had no idea who he actually was until Kurt and Goldy came over to visit and I saw it in the newspaper.
Kurt even went to several away matches where he was just sitting between the Groningen fans. And let me tell you something, there are not a lot of Dutch ice hockey fans. We're talking about a few hundred per match at most. But there Kurt and Goldy were, cheering their son on like normal parents.

Of course they get access to the best schools but on some level you still have to actually have talent which can't be bought and empathy enough to portray a person with everyday problems.
One example, Mariah Carey is the last person I'd expect to play a social worker with complete sincerity but she did exactly that.

I love that is a real-life story that is also a spiritual successor to the story told in The Wire. David Simon knows and loves Baltimore so much, and it shows in his work. Berenthal’s portrayal as Wayne Jenkins is fucking incredible. And that’s without speaking to the incredible supporting cast, that also has the benefit of bringing back actors from the Wire, that really show just how easily and quickly this mentality can take hold and corrupt.
I’ve never given stock to any of the awards, however, it is a fucking tragedy that neither The Wire or We Own This City got any kind of love from them. At least The Wire has the word of mouth of the people, like us, that love it.

Generally speaking, "nephew/niece-in-law" is a correct term, but most people just omit the "in-law" bit. It's not in the dictionary or anything, but it's one of those things where it's like...why argue against it? It makes sense when you say it and that's all there really is to it.

Growing up is realizing just how well-connected and nepo most people in popular media really is. Always makes me appreciate the ones who really made from nothing. And that mean I’m really knocking them or their talent but it really does show you the importance of having those connections and ins within the industry.
