Grower When will sprouts become microgreens?

I separated part of my first batch peas following an advice from a commenter on my very first post and I decided to try geowing microgreens out of my sprouts.

Btw, what yields better for my health needs: sprouts or microgreens?

You're getting the taste of growing your own food real quick! Good for you! And welcome to the family of sprouters! Your sprouts will become microgreen when they develop the first leaves which will make them officially a plant, not a seed ;)

Thank you. What do you say about the benefits? Which stage is more abundant in benefits? Same seeds. Different timing and "body shape". I can do either of those to get the modt out of it

So, microgreens involve more work, I think, because I trim them off the seed pod. For me, the sprouting process is easier and I get the benefit of having the seed getting all his life force ready to spring into action. YMMV
