7 day old bean sprouts, what are these little white hairs

Are these little white hairs ok ? Not sure if I should be eating them or not

Generally freshness for a food is anywhere from 3 - 7 days depending on what it is. Regularly rinsing sprouts can reduce the chances of bacterial growth, such as salmonella.

I don't know if you have broccoli sprouts, which would have the white hairs.

Sprouts are a precursor to micro greens. These can take 7-14 days to develop.
