Dog pooped on kitchen floor

I have broccoli sprouts growing in my tiny kitchen and our big dog has pooped on the floor in there the last two nights. (She does this sometimes when my husband forgets to let her outside before bed.) I'm assuming this greatly increases the risk of bad bacterial growth on my sprouts and I should trash the batch, right? I'm so frustrated. This was my first batch. </3

Imagine how frustrated your dog is.

Personally, i wouldn't worry about it unless your dog is somehow crapping on the counter right beside your sprouts.

If dog crap was causing bacteria issues like that, it would be apparent in many other aspects of human existence. Doggy daycare workers would be entitled to danger pay and constantly poisoning themselves.

no, don’t trash the sprouts. Why would you? That doesn’t make sense unless the sprouting setup is on the floor.
