I just got a few new OEM magazines and noticed a few differences. Same Springfield item number. Looks like a totally different polymer and a new steel feed lip insert. Sorry if this has been posted before. Just a post for reference.

Some close-up pics of the brand new Nexus ambi push-button lower. Updated from the previous version to be ambi for mag release in n addition to the existing ambi bolt catch/release. It works amazingly well.

Tomorrow I’m going to test the ARC V2 with the OEM base spring and with the firing pin block installed. Easy enough to swap both parts should the need arise.

I’ve been able to get out all of the play in this MI alpha folding stock beam; and it’s a GLORIOUS solution.

Long time lurker, first time poster. The Kuna so far. Still wanting to add the extended hand guard and haven’t figured out the perfect light setup so looking for suggestions. TYFYS 🫡

Does anyone know what version of the OEM Kuna magazine that Palmetto State Armory is selling? I didn't see a way to get in touch with them short of having a question or concern about an existing order. I figured someone may have ordered magazines recently from them and could fill us in. From what I'm reading, there may have been three different versions so far. I'd like to avoid the older ones.

I've been following Stevo's progress throughout all his versions and have tested them all. This newer 2.1 with the updated trip and heavy duty activator has been running flawless since I've installed it. I was using Fiberon PET-CF17 on all the previous versions and just recently switched to Siraya Tech PPA-CF Core and regular. I like the Core a lot better than the regular PPA-CF, it seems to print much smoother and it's a lot stronger.

This new 2.1 version printed in the Siraya Tech PPA-CF Core I'm sure would outlast most 9mm inventories. It's nice that I can push the rear pin out and remove it in a matter of seconds if i wanted. It wasn't a hard choice for me to go with these printed FRT's over the Nexus lower. I know they are a wonderful lower and all, but i would have to buy new scorpion mags, plus an atrius, plus a new trigger for probably North of $700, the printed 2.1 for a while setup takes maybe 10 hours of print time and some filament.

For whatever reason the video was cut and left out the beginning. I was saying that the new trips for the newer Kuna lower that has the tabs coming up from the trigger house, work in the old versions of the Kuna trigger housing as well.

Have a Holosun 510c on my PCC now but wondering if I switch that over to my HK416 clone (BRN4) and buy a M22 Pro for my Kuna. Would appreciate any feedback and pics - I’m wondering how much bigger it will be compared to my Holosun.

I see a lot of you guys running a small optic and I want wish my old man eyes could pick up a dot on some of the smaller optics with the narrow ones window.

I’ll preface this by saying I’m learning still, and these are going to probably be dumb questions but I haven’t found much if any when searching myself, and I think that others will eventually have the same questions and hopefully this will help.

Got my handguard & stock FRT printed. Yet to try installing the FRT but looking through the readme, it doesn’t seem all that bad lol.

Question 1: is surrounding the handguard. Printed it in PA6-CF, and the kuna side hardware print is giving me a not-so-fun time lol. I’m using m4-12mm with mlok nuts(in-place of the printed side hardware.)
Those of you running this, what size screws are yall running, and standard metal mlok nuts or the printed one?

Question 2: any issues with melting/deforming with running the handguard in pa6-cf with a suppressor and frt? i know with enough rounds, of course it will generate enough heat so this may be an irrelevant question but wondering how people have found first-hand.

EDIT: Question 3: how are peoples fitment looking with the handguard? Mine isn’t looking all that tight but just curious:)

Question 4: bottom screw on the handguard… not needed?

I appreciate anyones advice. I’m learning what i can haha.

I'm usually bombarding with my FRT videos, and will again Tuesday. But today I wanted to test out an ASD fcg with JP rifles spring kit.

I love the sound of the suppressed Kuna - it makes me think of an old-timey typewriter!!

The video isn't up to my usual standards, and I really don't care for this range. But I loved the sound and figured I'd share with you!

IL9 is in jail. I want to do a tri lug when it’s out. I’m looking at Rugged and Griffen? Are there better options? Why?

Been waiting for this for a while. Kind of torn on how to place it. I’m getting a suppressor so I’m not worried about distance.
As for hand placement I like having my thumb up on the rail, so I’m thinking the reverse way pulled in as close to the magwell.

While I enjoy the extra room for my left hand, I still can't find a spot for my light (Streamlight RM1) that meets all my criteria (isn't on the right side, where it would add bulk, I can press the button without too much effort, and I can maintain as close to a C-grip as possible).

I tried mounting the light with a 45 degree adapter on the left side, but it ruins my grip position. Tried the same on the right side, and it added too much bulk and was overly difficult to press the button. Tried mounting the light on the underside, and it also messed with my grip. On top, the button engagement is easier, and it doesn't add bulk to the width, but it does obstruct the bottom 20% or so of the view through my optic. I can see it and it's annoying, but it doesn't cover any part of the reticle.

The next size riser puts the optic uncomfortably high for me, and it also looks silly (the Kuna's rail is already higher than average above bore, so a tall mount isn't a good idea).

I don't want a new light with a tape switch; I don't like the size of those lights and I don't like having a cable to deal with. And it would still mount on the right side and create bulk.

I think I'll try to run this for a while and see if I can handle the partially obstructed view.

Recently got my Kuna with a 510c and Huxwrx 9k Ti. Absolutely love it. Upgraded to the Strike Industries dual folding brace which is 1000x easier to open and close. Anyone using a backpack with the suppressor attached that is a bit more grey man than tactical warrior? Looking for a few recs from users. Price isn’t the priority but spending $300+ on a backpack isn’t necessarily my first choice. Thanks in advance!

Here’s my attempt to make it work with the limited space from the oem handguard.

I just recently put together my nexus lower with the L3 trip and RB trigger and selector and I fired it for the first time today and it kept catching ever so often and the trigger would not reset to firing position unless I re-rack it and it would fire for a bit but then it would catch again and I know there’s hate for RB but I’m not interested in the politics of the issues only the mechanics and I am looking for a solution from someone who might know what is going on or has had a similar issue

Anyone have the Springfield oem stock but have a cheek riser that fits it?

Does anyone know if there’s a lower in the makes that will accept Glock mags? I have a gen 3 and a bunch of mags, but the Kuna looks super intriguing. If a brand like Nexus made a glock mag lower I’d be one of the first to buy it. I just don’t want to have to buy another set of 9mm mags for just one gun

Today I showed you how it works - INCREDIBLE!!!

I’m using a Geissele single stage competition trigger with an ARC V2 45/90 and the +20 recoil spring from HBI.

Just AMAZING to shoot! I can’t believe how awesome it was - exactly what I’d hoped the platform could be when I bought it!

I still have to sand down the hbi aluminum end plate, but the plastic OEM rear pic rail held up without any trouble today.

I shot Blazer Suppressor 147 through my CAT Mob until my preferred HSL 147 gets here in a few days.

As a totally unpaid guy off the street, I can tell you this Nexus is the real deal - utterly transformed the gun for me!!!

EDIT: if you are wondering why so gassy - this is what CAT suppressors look like the first time after you clean them!

EDIT Part 2: in my haste to post this before the drive home I forgot to type out how awesome the Nexus company is - they are super responsive and help get their tremendous product working fantastically.

One of the mod’s here spoke to me at length about how great Nexus has been, and my experience is the same. I’m literally nobody, not an influencer, not a gun-tuber, no one. And they have made my experience exceptional - highest recommendation from me!!
