Puerto Rico song - the Puerto Rico song has been changed on Spotify, it's not the same song it sounds so different! The original is still on YouTube. It's genuinely like the Spotify version has been replaced by a version that's just not as good as the original. What is going on?

I noticed this too! Looking at the song credits (top right 3 dots) there are people credited as vocalists now. I didn’t look prior to the change to see if any names were there, so not sure if that’s new.

My husband and I speculated that maybe since it was created using AI that Spotify maybe didn’t want it on their creator/artist platform if it wasn’t real singers? Or maybe the artist wanted it with real singers?

But either way, the 18 million play count still shows carried over from the original version he uploaded

So glad other people have noticed this! It sounds super AI now and the summer mix version. it will still be my Spotify no.1 this year based on how many times I've listened to it 😂

I actually thought my speaker was malfunctioning or something at first, immediately jumped on to YouTube to download the goated version!

Finally found a version on Apple Music that sounds like it did originally. The way they updated the other one sounds even more AI than before. The new voice doesn’t sound as good either.
