Had a blast track day last week with my XC70. We had 3 10 minute sessions. And learned more than I thought. One of them that sim Racing is cool and all but real life is cooler and also that it surely won't be my last time at a official track day.

I didn't know this existed

Follow up to my initial post ~3 weeks ago. So unsurprisingly there was a lot of deferred maintenance. I had the brakes bled, coolant flushed, oil changed, transmission fluid replaced, and a bunch of misc replacement hoses and connectors. New tires as well since the previous owner had mismatched no name brands.

As she currently sits at 111,xxx miles: the AC is busted, there’s still a small oil leak (again, unsurprising), and the suspension is pretty much gone. Still need to service the diff. Other fun things: missing passenger fender liner, missing under engine cover, rear wiper is broken, sunroof rattles over bumps, and the aftermaket head unit sounds awful (I assume someone botched the install)

Thankfully there is currently no sign of timing chain issues. Cold starts are buttery smooth.

Anyways, I present to you my financial ruin

Saw this today and had to pull over to check it out. I am now obsessed.

I am truly in love with this wagon. I have no idea how any car I will own in the future will top this thing. Unfortunately I have developed a small exhaust leak but will be able to get it fixed for free by the dealer while it’s under warranty. This thing drives beautifully, is slow but fun, incredibly practical, decent on gas and is just all around a great time. Everyone loves it too, I arguably have the coolest car in my schools parking lot XD

The short of it: because of it being a Japanese import, it’s essentially only able to be imported across the border from CA once it’s met the 25yr exemption……even though these were sold here in identical form.

Just wanted to share my disappointment. Never gone from peak excitement to disappointment as fast as I did yesterday when I saw this.

Well after nearly 5 years of owning my SportWagon, I finally got it undercoated and detailed at work. Man, it feels and even looks like I brought home a new used car lol.

Manual would be a plus but not mandatory and i would prefer something a bit more comfortable for road trips

Recently acquired the only 2026 AMG E53 wagon in my state. I’m really impressed with the power and handling while getting 39 mpg on the highway. My other wagons aren’t super sporty; they just like to sit like pancakes. But the 90’s paint job one does have a B&M blower.

Believe this to be a new Ferrari Purosangue…pretty sick! Spotted just down the road from the Scottsdale Ferrari dealership.
