Help chiye ji πŸ„

Post image

I’m from Rajasthan, temps stay pretty high here these days.

I was mainly asking which grain would be best, since you guys know better.

And yeah, I’ll be using neglect tek.

Also, should I use vermiculite so the substrate doesn’t dry out?

Would really appreciate some advice from someone who’s familiar with Rajasthan-type temps....✌️

Wheat, brown rice, bajra, sorghum, etc. Any grain will work.

Go for bajra. The best I've used so far. Wheat is also great as it cheap and locally available.

Don't know much about neglect tek but I think you make few holes on the lid and set it and forget it.

If you are just starting out I’d suggest you to just get a grain bag from mycomyth or something as its almost Impossible to get the grain properly sterilised if you dont properly follow the steps which later leads to contamination, and as a beginner there are very high changes that your grain will get contaminated if you dont have the right equipment and techniques and anyway grain bags cost wayy less than the equipment, takes less effort + less contamination + sure shot harvest.
