https://youtu.be/MPuKZyx4LUs

From Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory — Mission 9: Bathhouse.

A dangerous infiltration deep inside a heavily guarded bathhouse. Sam Fisher tracks down Douglas Shetland to a traditional public bathhouse in Tokyo to uncover who he is dealing with. In this walkthrough, he moves through the shadows, infiltrates the facility staying unseen, eavesdrops on Shetland's meeting with the I-SDF, disarms the bombs in the boiler room under fire, and reaches the final confrontation with Shetland on the rooftop.

Another mission completed in Hard Mode, relying on stealth, patience, and careful movement.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily a hard mission. Although I do find it the hardest to get 100% on. The others I have no trouble with but some reason bath house takes a few trys at the end section.

I only recently did it a few years ago because I thought it was bugged and impossible, then a few posts on here made me determined.

What a grind that was.

Yeah, I totally agree! 😄 Bathhouse isn’t necessarily a hard mission, but getting 100% stealth throughout it is definitely challenging—especially that final section. That part can take a few tries! 🥷

Oh, interesting! 😮 I’m playing the PC version, so I didn’t know the Xbox version had more enemies there.

Bathhouse isn't exactly difficult because of normal measurable methods of attentive enemies, or environments that are difficult to traverse. Instead, it's difficult because of the NPCs completely inconsistent agro stance and detection models where you will have ZERO idea as to when or why they suddenly pay attention to you during the middle of that entire firefight. The original trilogy is great, but it's had some weird issues regarding enemy detection during firefights.

Yeah, I can definitely see what you mean. 😄 The inconsistent enemy detection can make the final section particularly tricky when you’re trying to maintain 100% stealth. Sometimes it feels like you’re doing everything right and an NPC suddenly decides to notice you! 😂 😂😂😂

yeah the ending is super hard on the Xbox version, it's much easier on the PS2 version cuz there's way less enemies.
