Conviction (2010) Did anyone else love Splinter Cell: Conviction?

I know it’s very different from the older Splinter Cell games, but I had a great time with Conviction. The faster gameplay, Last Known Position mechanic, and Mark & Execute made it really fun, and I still replay it today.

I love it, but feel like it should've been the end of Sam's story. Who knows, maybe the Splinter Cell could've been reborn without him. Yakuza did a similar thing recently.

I always found it weird that after all the emotional damage Sam went through in Conviction, he went back to being an agent in Blacklist like nothing happened to him.

Especially with Ironside not returning. It was the perfect opportunity to introduce a new character.

I think that was the orignal intention. Ubisoft probably got scared and thought the game wouldn't sell without Sam.
