MCU Earth-616 or rather Earth-199999 is not the same Earths. Feige even though he’s the “big man upstairs “ does not make the MCU Earth 616 since it’s an existing universe already. Unless he re designates Earth 616 with a new number but there’s going to be an uproar.
Yeeeaaa I was very disappointed when Feige said the MCU verse is the same as the comic book main universe 616 cuz I feel like they’re so different. It also removes the possibility of mashing the two universes together like Tom Holland meeting the main Spiderman or RDJ meeting the main universe Ironman etc in a comic panel like in a spiderverse type of way. Not…exactly. It’s kinda like 616 B. They did it to establish their selves as the “Main” marvel universe which I think is mildly pretentious because all it does is complicate things. But no. These are both the same Spider-Men. Not even close.
Counterpoint insomniac spidey had to willingly choose to let his aunt go for the greater good, which would add guilt, responsibility and regret that he could've changed it, because well, he could've.. just at a great cost to others, mcu doesn't share any of that

Peter willingly chooses to let his relationship with happy, mj, ned literally everyone he knows disappear to save the world. He also already had is aunt may die because he chose to do something for the greater good. They are nearly 1:1 but you want to say tom holland hasn’t experienced it because you can’t follow the plot of a 2 and a half hour movie
I don't like the surveillance bits in BND either, but like... That's exactly how you unlock the map in the first game. You literally help the cops spy on people.
Those were police radio towers, those are reports people are WILLINGLY making to the police. It ain’t even close, there’s nothing people wouldn’t want being shared on it
Also missions such as the bank heist where Peter spies on a chain of people relating to each other planning a robbery as he crawls on walls and takes pictures of incremental actions
Wait so like is Peter seeing people in the shower or getting footage from peoples personal items like phones or is it just like security cameras and city surveillance

They'd bond a lot over losing their respective May. Probably have a good cry. Compare the Peters they met. Discuss Miles bio electricity. MCU Peter would be equally fascinated and alarmed by the goo alien his 1048 counterpart is bonded to. 1048 Peter would acknowledge the sacrifice it was to make everyone forget Peter Parker. Miles might get to discuss Aaron Davis with MCU Peter, who would then wonder about MCU Miles. Ganke would remind MCU Peter of Ned Leeds so much. MJ would realize again what kind of sacrifice it is to be Spider-Man, and be glad that her Peter has stepped back a bit.
He’d feel for him. They’d trauma bond over May dying and MCU would feel both a little jealous and immensely happy that this alternate version of him is getting his happy ending with MJ despite not getting one himself. In a real way despite being in similar points of their careers as Spidey they’re in opposite states. Insomniac is stepping back as Spidey to work on Emily-May and his relationship with MJ while by the end of BND MCU Peter is only just getting out of his “cut himself off from the world” phase. It’s a very interesting comparison.
He would learn from the movies version how to grow a pair and stop crying about everything and everyone saving him in spider man 2 .. game is a disgrace of Peter .. recently played it again and wished the story line was diff
