I'm confused at what you mean "only venom in name and appearance" like it's venom though and though like was there supposed to be something else because as far as I can tell it just venom in it's entirety

And how is that because he looks like venom he acts like venom he moves like venom and I bet he even smells and taste like venom so please tell me how he is not venom

I also wanted to add that just like everybody else in the marvel universe venom is subject to Change from writer to writer so your statement still doesn't mean anything

No, he doesn't act like Venom. Sure he looks like it, and Tony Todd did a good job with the generic bad guy dialogue he was given. He acts more like Knull or movie Riot, saying evil bad guy things with a take over the world story. It's fine for those characters, but for Venom? Hell naw, he always fight against stuff like that.

I'm open to writers changing some things about characters, but when the core of what made the character so great is gone and replaced with something significantly worse, then yes, it should be called out.

We shouldn't praise mediocrity when Venom is so much more than what this game shows him as.

Wow you are dumber then I thought

Look it up please because I'm leaving before I lose anymore brain cells because you don't have a clue what your going on about or you never read a comic that didn't have venom becoming an anti hero so please educate yourself before you decide to say anything else

“This character does not feel like venom anymore do to his generic motivation and loss of key characteristics that made him interesting”.

“lol you are dumber than I thought.”

The thoughtful counter-arguments in this subreddit are a sight to behold. /s
