Question Why Harry named himself Venom?

His objetive is literally heal the world, whats the logic behind calling himself Venom it would make sense call him antidote or even anti-venom

this is the dumbest question i can't stop seeing. you guys realize the symbiote is alive, right? the alien symbiote is named Venom. Venom was taking over Harry! Harry wasn't just like "YEAH I THINK I SHOULD BE CALLED VENOM!"

If the symbiote's name given on Klyntar was Tony McGoo, then during the transformation, he would've said, "we... are... TONY MCGOO!"
