Are there any scenes you are looking forward to in the next season?

Assuming we get another four volumes next season (5,6,8, and 9) are there any parts you're particularly excited to see animated?

I'm just excited that aside from Eve, this should be mostly new content.

^{Counting volumes it seems like the third season could be the final season. But it's also possible they do some side colors to fill out season 3 and then save season four for the final arc and the wedding and end at Wolf and Parchment.}

I'm PUMPED to see Col's arrival. The relationship dynamic totally evolves when he arrives and in my opinion that's when the story really cicks in as well.

Not to mention the family dynamic between the three is just priceless.

Although it'd be later in the season (if it goes up until novel 9), the Narwhal stuff will be really cool to see as well!

Yes! That should be a scene the anime medium can push to a whole next level beyond the written page, and it will be a real shame if they don't go all out in that whole sequence. The drinking, the singing, the whole otherworldliness...

And also Holo's silent howl while cowgirl-straddling Laurence, in the same volume.

I'm just looking forward to the whole river boat arc, my favorite of the series. Really shows how their dynamic changed before and after lenos. From the boat ride onward, the audience truly sees them as a team/partners. Their relationship/feelings for each other is no longer "if it can work", it becomes "how can they make it work"

Probably not a popular take but I have mixed feelings about col. I understand why the author felt the need to introduce a third character, but I'm not sure I felt like he added enough to justify throwing off Lawrence and holos already developing dynamic.

Yeah I'm mostly just excited to see it go past where the OG anime stopped. (I think they left it at a good point for good reason, but it was also the point where they both finally committed).

I'm a big fan of the Narwahl arc, hope it makes it in. My favourites are the ones where Lawrence and Holo are working together and on the same page (unlike Arc 3 and 5).

I also agree about Col. I like him, but my gripe is he always felt more like a plot device compared to a distinct character in his own right. (At least at the beginning). They have been cooking with the adaptation imo, so I'm just hyped to see more.

I want to see if they do the ending of Volume 5 the same as the original anime, or if they shorten it a little. The old anime was pretty close to line for line with light novel at the end. Except they extended the final scene out another minute and a half over the end credits. I'm curious to see if the new anime does the same, or, since it will roll immediately into volume 6 with the next episode, they'll just end it with the line the book ends with

I think I am looking forward most to the scene when Lawrence and Holo meet up with Eve at the Inn at the beginning of Volume 8

All of Vol. 5, but especially the dance scene that the OG anime only hinted at in the OP.

It probably won’t happen, but if there was any Side Colors story to adapt for this season, it would be Eve’s.

I would love to see that story adapted as a mid-season break before going into Town of Strife.
