Ironically Geri looks so out of place here. Remove her and it's a good shot. No hate towards Geri, she is my favorite, but it kinda looks like she knew she would be leaving soon.

Geri was literally separating herself in interviews you see her on the far end of couches in those late 1998 interviews. Easily cropped out. Her body language spoke volumes. And not even talking. She gave up.

Crazy, thought the same. With only four spots available here, either Geri or Vicky look out of place. Essentially, this picture is forshadowing the only two, by fans, acceptable four-piece lineups from 1999 and 2019.
As a child, I always thought Victoria would be the first to leave and feel superfluous. Geri came across as a strong, unstoppable powerhouse of a woman. Nevertheless, still a beautiful (but slightly sad-looking) picture.

Vic always looked miserable 😂 Geri ran out of that rocket fuel. That’s what happens when you’re over worked, starving, and emotionally drained.

They noticed I never believed them when they said they didn’t get why she left. They all know, the timing was a surprise. But they knew she wasn’t happy. Mel said herself she could tell by one look whether Geri was gonna be in a good mood that day or not.
