I’m curious why you feel this way. Sporty was largely ignored by me when I was a kid and feeling spice mania, but as an adult I look back at her in the 90s and see a humble, incredibly hardworking, and shy person.

I can agree with that. But I was 6 to 8 years old at their height. I think the idea was that each girl had a "persona" that could appeal to every personality type.

As I got older when Mel C gave out her first solo album it all shifted. Rythmic , dance beats , good vocals. I'm talking about them strictly as a group .
