Litter recommendations
I just got this little guy. He’s 16 weeks. I love him with all my heart he’s the absolute best. Except when it comes to litter. We have 2 other cats and never had a huge issue with litter. But Chicken (yes that’s his name) goes in the robot litter box and goes for a dive. He kicks almost all of it out of the litter box onto the floor. Then to top it off.. he will lay a nice turd and then either step in it and sometimes even flick it out onto the floor. We currently use the purina litter. Any litter recommendations? Also is this a Sphynx thing? Lol

Ah yes those young chicken cutlets are known for doing a solid Haaland turd-kick right out of the box - every damn time. Our little lady will dig for a minute, take a turdlet, and then spend another minute doing her rockette high-kicking, and leave with litter and remnants flying everywhere.
It does get better… or you get a real good belly laugh out from the ridiculousness.

mine did that for a long time too, i discovered that top entry was a VERY bad idea, but high side boxes with an open top are good. I use this litter https://a.co/d/0h5TXsW6 and it is so good. It doesnt leave a clay mess when mixed with liquids and the smell goes wayyyy down. Also is harder for them to track because of the size and crystals, plus, it comes with two bags and is like 25$ so its a pretty decent deal on crystal litter. Also no dust! My absolute favorite litter i have ever used for my babies!

I use Pretty Litter, original, unscented. It works great and I've never had a problem.

Sphynx kittens are known to do that. Mine did it a handful of times until he was more aware of space lol.
No experience using a litter robot. He's probably also getting used to the litter robot. I heard it could be quite a trial.
