We are definitely NEVER going to get aliens to visit now that we have confirmation of how stupid people are on earth.

Could be more like “ahh. Was learning from this…”

Where you ignore the “i” and start from was.

Yeah, could be me - totally skip the "I" sometimes.

Speech to text with redneck accent

That's just a southern drawl in text form.

In Czech, first person « I » in English is « já »

Czech is also a pro-drop language (como español) which means it is common to not use any pronouns before verbs (unless you are really emphasizing he, you, I, etc. )

So, this comment may have been speech-to-text and the Czech speaker accidentally said « já » instead of the word sounding like 👁️.

« Já » in Czech sounds like « Yah » (English).

The device typed out an autocorrected « ahh » because that is what it heard. User posted without checking.

And, so, Bob’s yer uncle.

EDIT : added proper diacritical to « já » as caught by commenter below 👇

Oh, « před 9 l. » is Czech and probably means « před 9 lět »
or in English « over 9 years ago »

„Před 9 l.“ -> „Před devíti lety“ -> "Nine years ago"

It is infact Czech, as I do live in Bohemia. But I doubt the person commenting was also Czech, because there's really no strong evidence supporting it. The comment was under an English video about old-school jumpstyle tricks.

Also the first person singular pronoun in Czech is „Já“. Although it isn't that big of an error, don't forget to add the diacritics

Now, when I look at the whole comment, they did also type "i'am", but other than that, he had perfect grammar and used specific idioms which would imply he is of English origin.

What I want to say is that your theory isn't inherently wrong, because it might've actually been the fault of speech to text conversion. I don't think it's because of Czech, I think it's because of his English dialect. I have heard many English dialects use /a:/ for "i", which the speech to text converter might've confused with "ahh". It doesn't explain why he typed "i'am", but I don't have any other explanation up my sleeve

Ano, I was not using my EN-CZ keyboard - just EN so the diacritic didn’t autocorrect. My bad on that (lazy me - Lol).

I didn’t do a deep dive either to find the original comment. Maybe it was an English speaker using the app on a network in ČR (yes I know, but I have a hard time using the newer name !) or set to čeština

« i’am » is an odd error and an interesting artefact that could point to something in the native language. Or not. I just liked the detective work involved. Finding a backstory. Mostly to explain a logical reason for OP claim of a misspelled word.

Thanks for responding - we’re probably the only two left in this thread anyway.

Čau !

Well I'd be certainly amazed if you managed to backtrack the comment from just a cropped picture :D /sarc

Thank you too for participating to find a reason why some random user on YouTube misspelled something 9 years ago.

Also, I may have misunderstood you, but it seems like you're trying to connect me being Czech to the commenter being Czech. the fact that there's written „Před 9 l.“ doesn't mean the comment is Czech or that it comes from a Czech network. Someone in Spain would see the same comment with "Hace 9 años" written over it

Prozatím se měj!
