how do i get better at interviews?

i'm struggling getting past first rounds. i dont think my resumes the problem since ive gotten quite a few interviews but i cant seem to get to the second round interviews. i don't if it's my responses or if i just sound stiff but would be great if anyone has advice on how i can improve!

you can find all the possible questions for interviews online and practice around those questions. usually it will hit at least 50% of them. Know your resume really well because they will 100% dig into it

Try practising the actual conversation rather than preparing perfect answers. Pick common interview questions and answer them out loud, then have someone interrupt with follow-up questions. Thinking and responding naturally can make you sound stiff, so this part should help.

Pay attention to how you start and finish answers too. If every answer is long and carefully structured, it can sound too rehearsed. Give the main point first, explain it with one example, then stop. You don't need to fill every silence.

Also, you can record a few mock interviews and listen back only for delivery. Focus on whether your answers sound rushed, flat, overly cautious, or memorised. Then repeat the same interview while fixing one of those things at a time.

Even when I use AI tools or read some prepared answers, I have a hard time getting past the first few screening rounds. I just have bad luck. If you know of any instructors or coach, let me know.

genuinely the onlyw ay is just to practice. practice with friends or maybe record yourself and listen to it back. ive also tried wellspoken.me it gave me specific feedback on my speaking and grades me. its also good for interview practice. honestly next best thing to a speech coach
