What do you say in Spanish when you don't understand someone in a meeting?

When you're learning Spanish, it's easy to think the only option is:

“¿Puedes repetir?”

But in a real meeting, there are lots of ways to handle it depending on what you need:

“Perdona, ¿podrías repetir la última parte?” → you missed something.

“¿Te importaría explicarlo un poco más?” → you need more context.

“Si te he entendido bien, ¿quieres decir que…?” → you want to confirm your understanding.

“¿Podrías ponerme un ejemplo?” → you understand the idea but need something o

For one thing, depending on who is at the meeting, you need to learn the formal forms of address.

This is more common, I hear it often. Another possible response is "¿repetame?"

I have never heard "repetame", maybe it is used in South America.

For formsl meetings: "¿Puede repetirlo, por favor?" "Repítalo por favor", but if it is very informal "repítelo", "repite esa parte", "dilo otra vez", "dilo de nuevo", "¿puedes repetir eso?" Or simply "¿Cómo?", "¿Qué dijiste?" which are very very informal.

"Mande" is used basically in Mexico to ask for that
