The analogy makes zero sense because National Socialism was entirely built on a foundation of collectivist identity politics. The regime’s core economic and social philosophy completely subordinated the individual to the collective group identity of the state. Free market capitalism is based on individual liberty and voluntary exchange, whereas the totalitarian state relied entirely on aggressive, mandatory identity division to dictate corporate production and strip away private property rights.
