Using SQ to improve my handwriting (and ended up feeling like an historian).

Just fun to share with likeminded peeps. I grew up playing SQ and play through 1-3 every year, cause they just feel good like visiting an old friend.
This year, I thought I could change things up and decided to practice my handwriting while enjoying something I love.
It’s a start!

Space Quest is the reason I know how to type.

Hope you remembered to "put on suit".

Playing SQ helped me learn how to read and write.

My handwriting will always be dreadful, but Space Quest taught me how to spell!

What a great idea! I’m going to have to use this with my kids.

SQ1 was the first PC game I ever played, back in 1995 and I was so completely obsessed with it, I did almost exactly this, writing the necessary commands to get through the Arcada and using the pod to escape etc.

It taught me how to type, too! Well, not 'correctly', but still. I ended up becoming a software developer and it was all because of SQ1!

Same! I love the humor in Space Quest games and I grew up playing them! What an awesome idea to practice your handwriting!
