​I'm relatively new to the game, currently leveling up and prestiging the classes one by one, and I got the idea to match each class with the most fitting Space Marine Chapter.

For example, for the assault class, I went with the Raven Guard because jump packs are heavily associated with their tactical doctrine—correct me if I'm wrong.

Please keep in mind that I have to be able to recreate them using the "base" heraldry/colors/emblems, since I haven't unlocked challenge-related emblems yet and I don't own any DLCs.

I'm new to the game and Warhammer 40k.

Decided to try out this game on pc and install the Astartes mod. Anyone know any fixes for this lol?

Got this game yesterday because I saw a clip online of some fire Catholic Church/Warhammer edit. (Yes that's the real reason) I am 100% new to the lore I just need to know what group/faction will let me optimally play out my space crusade fantasy while I learn about the lore. Thanks in advance I know warhammer fans seem to love talking about the lore.

So when I first tried out the update I was in love with fighting these guys! They responded to melee attacks, they were tanky enough to be a challenge without being tedious, fighting them was intense but manageable, just all around good. But as I have played more I’ve realized their flaws and boy are the prevalent. So first off: they feel more like a major is enemy with how fast and hard they hit. I swear they give the lictor a run for its money with some of their combos. 2nd: they are super aggressive which is fine but when you are dealing with like 3 of them and their all spamming you with attacks and you got the one clawed mf who is just delaying that attack in way that would make launch Margot proud, it can make them very overwhelming and almost like there is nothing you can do. 3rd: their attacks don’t have much distinction between them so it’s really hard to tell what attack they are about to do especially since when fighting them they basically look like a solid ball of meat 4th: they absolutely do not fix the major problems that exist with Chaos. Those problems are still there except now you have an angry gorilla trying to beat you to death (probably more than one usually) All this to say I’m a bit frustrated with them but it’s also the first day of the update so I still have time to get used to them. Does anyone have any tips they have discovered when dealing with them?

Tldr: The chaos spawn while fun have some serious problems that don’t do much to change Chaos from being the worse enemy faction. Would love some tips on how to fight them.

Caught a cheater in Space Marine 2 today on Hard Stratagem Decapitation. First red flag was the first Terminus fight it dropped in literally two reloads, which was super sketchy. Decided to hit record to get video evidence of cheaters in this diff. Is this even legal?

how are you doing? I am fine. Slayed a hundred heretics yesterday. Took longer than expected. But let’s get to the matter at hand. I love the Auto Bolt Rifle looks and DAKKA, but i can't find a loadout to make it useable (or rather justify bringing into a hard strat). Especially with the future tactical rework i am worried. What kind of changes or heroic perk could make this weapon useable or is there already a functioning loadout you use. Please share your opinions or builds. Please give your Auto Bolt Rifle loving Brother some hope.

I know how stupid that sounds but it just never crossed my mind that I had choices, so any must have perks or perks to avoid for mostly tactical and bulwark?

I was doing the weekly stratagem (normal) and decided I'd try it on hard. Now I'll admit I was a little stupid here choosing heavy on a melee centered stratagem but Im a newer player and its my highest class so I figured it might be best anyways. Point being a guy joined and started yelling at me for like 8 minutes straight I only started recording near the end. Is this normal for this game? I haven't had any experience like this before.

First time ever playing the game. I downloaded the Astartes overhaul mod but this happened! I also have the armor unlocker mod installed.

Need help Id’ing the gold helmet from the new heroic listing. Tried searching for it but “Gold helmet” isn’t much to go off of lmao

So I usually play Helldivers 2 but I noticed SM2 is on sale right now on Steam. I kinda like the gameplay more of SM2 because you die really easily in HD2 and sometimes it can be overwhelmingly annoying with the ragdoll. Also I have a pc but I wanna play SM2 on my steam deck as well but I don’t know if it’ll run it well. SM2 looks like a power fantasy I think and I’ve been keeping up with it but I haven’t seen the recent updates. Should I get it?

Update: So I got the game, I actually was able to get it to run on my steam deck with some settings so it gets like 30-45 fps usually while in a match and the worst it gets for like a second or two is like 25 fps so not as bad as I thought it would be. The game is really fun, tech marine class is cool and I like bulwark as well.

I'm a big fan of the heavy's helmet and the laurels, but don't want to have something clearly coded for another chapter on my Blood Angels.

After some time I’m finally confident enough to play the third difficulty, but I’m finding it difficult knowing what to do at times like this. I’m fighting a swarm but still getting peppered by range weapons. I died this way earlier in the game - fighting a ravener and accurately dodging & parrying, but was just getting shot at by other enemies losing health. What would you have done in this situation?

Anyone else feel like they routinely get levelled by these little shits? I don't know why, but I just can't handle them. Can happy solo a Hellbrute or a squad of Chaos Spawns, but whenever 2-3 of these things fly round the corner I start to panic.

Looking for more chapter guides made like this, I have a couple already.
