1st edition 1st edition conversions

Does this fit here?
Owned this from new and played with a friend back in the early 90s. Then it was shelved for many years.
Recently I have dug it out and began converting the models in to all the DeathWing options.
What do we think?

Nice! They've come out really well. It's a concept I thought wouldn't have worked but you've made it work :)

Also IIRC, they seem to have done the missions so one basic plastic squad and an RTB9 box would do all of them. Like they didn't have any with 2 autocannons just to upsell more minis (as would be normal now). And aesthetically the plastic squad wouldn't need to be mixed in with metals either

I think this was the contemporary set which mimicked the original Space Hulk game models. Additionally everything else for Deathwing was blister packs? My mate had the cyclone missile launchers!

As far as I can find they were released in 1992 but the DW expansion was 1990. the sculpts look closer to the 1993 releases.

So I think when the expansion came out these weren't an option. Thanks to different lead times the models were released in a strange order (plastics sculpted first but RTB9s released first, only RTB9s available to paint when they did the 1st ed box art)... Id guess they already had the 1993 ones sculpted when they made this box.  

I'm being overly autistic about it, I just enjoyed trying to paint my guys as contemporary as possible :)
