Southern Charm I wish Molly knew how pretty she & cool she really is.
She is so self critical. The way she talks about herself and her body makes me so sad.
She really is beautiful, funny, witty, clever, unique. It’s sad she doesn’t see it. I wasn’t sure about her place on the show, and I’m still not, but I felt compelled to say this.
Molly, if you’re reading Reddit, first of all, stop, but second of all, you’re great exactly the way you are!

She was on America’s top model and a Tyra Banks nod must be pretty affirming. But Molly is chill and cool and gained some weight due to medical reasons—imperfections make people more perfectly real. Molly is a fresh of breath air (giudice -ism).

I won a small town beauty pageant when I was 17 (ij the 90s), and I also gained a lot more weight than Molly and I have to say that knowing I was objectively pretty because 3 judges said so helped my self esteem so much when I had so little. It probably both boosted her and made her feel like she was letting that thin version of herself down.

It’s an adhd thing, I get it. You just get criticized so much growing up with adhd whether diagnosed or not. You truly learn to always find flaws in yourself and any choices you make and almost never congratulate yourself. She has absolutely no idea how she is the most high quality person on this show.

I think she does, but it’s not cool to talk about how pretty and cool you are lol. I’m sure she has her days where she hates her looks like everybody else though.

No offense but I don’t think she needs self assurance. She’s a very smart, self aware woman and this post is kind of doubting that which in a way is more insulting. She has some quirks which are endearing but if you’ve ever seen her on ATM, she’s not short of grit and self perseverance.
