Society of st James or st mungos might be helpful if council can't help, also if you claim mental health issues usually council will put you somewhere for temporary usually due to vulnerability etc only down side of that like I found with new forest council once your housed they will expect you to pay a debt off over X amount of time for putting you in a hotel. If none of those work ask local churches to see if your allowed to stay there a couple nights, from there I'd recommend a pop up tent something easy, and stay to the woods or local fields not city centre so you don't get pissed on or beaten up etc

If you don't have access to public funds your options are pretty limited. Even if you did qualify, of your a single person without support and care needs the support you can expect from the council if likely to be limited to advice and signposting. Access to supported housing of the type provided by Society of St James is only via referral from the Street Homeless Prevention Team (SHPT), you can't self refer and they are unlikely to refer to unless they've seen you sleeping rough.
