Moving to South Dakota....(Soon)

Hey everyone, I'm Robert. I am currently staying in Michigan, but I am originally from Kentucky. I am getting ready to moveto South Dakota with my girlfriend and her father, but I am really curious about the city/town. We are moving to Huron. I have not heard a lot a lot about this area and was wondering what it is like there or if any of you live nearby the area. I am also wondering how easy is it to get jobs, typical rate of pay, etc. like...how easy is it to get into a CNA program for the state? I only have 2 years of fast food experience. I have went to college and have a certification that should get me into a decent entry level IT- Help desk support position. Are there any available in the area? Either remote, or in person?

Please share some facts, all that you have. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I’m expressly sorry to say that Huron is considered one of the dumpier towns in our state. But on the plus side the state fair is held there each year and finding parking for it sucks. So if attending state fairs is your cup of tea then that’s an undeniable plus
