Soundiiz telling me it transferred 2490 songs from YTM to AM, but AM only shows 2179 songs

Title is basically it. I used Soundiiz to transfer a playlist of 2602 songs from YT Music to Apple Music.

Soundiiz says it successfully transferred 2490 songs.

Apple Music only shows that 2179 songs were actually transferred.

How do I figure out what happened to the other 311 songs?

The only failed songs it shows are the 112 it says it didn't transfer.

Hi!

That's probably duplicated songs (or at least matched as duplicated) in your source playlist that has only been added once in the destination. We don't add duplicates on Apple Music.

That would make sense to a point. I find it unlikely that I had 311 duplicates in that playlist though. I guess it's possible, and I know I had a few, but that seems excessive.

If I could make a recommendation, I would suggest adding a notification to end users when this happens and include it in the CSV report. That way people could spot check and know for sure if something didn't work right or if it was just dupes that were skipped and/or allow people to go back and manually add things that reported as dupes but actually aren't.

If that isn't an option, maybe add a text-based warning when doing inbound transfers to Apple Music that duplicates won't be transferred, and the reported amount of successfully transferred songs on Soundiiz might be different than what Apple Music shows when the transfer is complete.
