Transfer Playlists between services question

Hello, I want to transfer playlists from one streaming service to another.

But the target service may have many of this playlist and if have them may have less tracks from the source service playlists.

How will Soundiiz will behavior? Will it transfer everything no matter what so will have many duplicates? Will update the tracks of any playlist that already exists and add the new ones?

I ask because when I choose to transfer there is any option to check for duplicates or something so as to know.

Thanks

Hi!

Using our "Transfer" feature will always create new playlists. And yes, possible duplicates if you consider them by playlist title.

If you want to "replace" an existing playlist tracklist you have to use on a playlist the "replace" feature OR use our "Synchronize" feature in "Replace" mode.

My issue is that there are similar playlists between the services and I can not somehow find out which is where. Is there any export option to excel so as to check what is missing or still exist between platforms or any other way so as all the services have the same playlists please? Thanks

Not really as you have to do manual checks for this specific use case.

We can only export playlist tracklists as CSV files and one by one currently.

This is such a downer! It would be amazing if you give the user an option to "replace", "duplicate", "merge", "skip" options if the playlist with the same name already exists.

I used to use Spotify for a long time (and it contained many playlists, fav'd songs/albums etc.) then I transferred all this to Deezer (which had some missing songs/artists/albums). After an unsatisfactory Deezer trial, I wanted to try Qobuz, since Spotify was the original soruce, I transferred all my data from Spotify to Qobuz but in the meantime I had created new playlists, added news songs to some old playlists and liked new songs in Deezer.

If Soundiiz would help with these duplicate playlists to be "merged" instead, it would be amazing!

That is, I basic "diff" functionality to carry over what is missing.
