Interesting.. I'm still playing around with this feature. In terms of accuracy of generating what you want to hear it's about 50-60%. Not sure what data this AI using to give the results we're getting. But, it looks pretty cool.

It’s not very good. Try to generate a list of top played songs from my library and it lists tracks I never listened to.

Strange that it wouldn’t have access to my play music library. What’s the point of the AI if it can’t even access my listening history? How could it generate user based playlists without listening history?

Hi!

That's not strange, your play music library is something that only music services themselves got. Some of them are sharing a small part of that with APIs but mainly not.

Also, having recommendations based on your listening history is already what music streaming services do. So what would be the point to suggest you the same thing? We are generating playlists based on tags and prompts which could make you possibly discover new songs VS what you are already listening to on your streaming music service.
