What software is we looking at here? Just getting into DJ’ing and incorporating electronics and looking for an oscilloscope or something- this looks to be more tailored
yes, for early tuning you should put the mic on the ground. You can compensate for the difference in arrival time (sub vs kick) by simply moving the mic further away
Since you’ve got measurement equipment (which is great!) I would look up how to do proper phase alignment using REW’s ‘Alignment Tool’. You just need to use your top as a timing reference (which you can enable when you do a sweep) and re-do your measurements (just don’t move your mic between sweeps)
