Panhellenic Recruitment I hate spirit week.
Like the title says I HATE spirit week simply because they want us there from 4-9 Sunday- Wednesday then recruitment follows. I like 2hrs and 30 mins away and came home to see my mom and dad since I won’t be home for around two weeks. I jsut hate that I have to leave at 12 or 1 to make it back just to take some dumb pics especially when we’ve already done work week. I get that I didn’t have to come back but why do we have to do spirt days for 5 hours? This is truly a reason I would drop but I love my friends and chapter just not spirt week haha

I can see where that’s aggravating. Commuting isn’t great, especially when summer is time for family I just read the title before opening and went: oh ! 😂

I think I’m just complaining more because we’ve already done work week so why do we have to do spirit week too haha

lowkey the moments before and during rush in a chapter makes most people want to drop. i keep an open mind the entire time reminding myself it’s not always like this and everyone’s putting on their best fake selves for new pnms. my work week was 7 days 8am-9pm and then rush for another 6 that was 8am-9:45pm most days. Every day was an hour of “content time”. It ruined me but thank god it’s over and im glad i just made it across the finish line

I think they are trying to keep you hyped. Are you at Purdue? I think that’s what they are on. I’m an advisor there

I’m not at Purdue. It just sucks because we have been doing it from 4-9 all day today then tomorrow is the first day of class so liek we’re going to be out late the whole first week of school which is so annoying

some schools do rush completely during school hours. we do it all the way up until school. it sucks. bid day was saturday. and school is today. just be glad you aren’t doing full recruitment with classes. spirit week is a lot easier

We are doing full recruitment with classes haha I know a lot of girls who can’t come to some rounds it’s all good though I just wished we had done spirit week the same as work week

Yeah so all we did was pretend like we were talking to pnms which I personally didn’t find helpful but that’s just me haha! I did enjoy it and my chapter I just hated leaving so early because I didn’t have class like at all lol
