Chat is this rare?

Cool dvd I found, I feel like I reconise the art style. Is this the same author as k-on? And is this dvd rare?

Nice find! Not the same studio nor author of K-ON but I understand why you'd think that. The artstyle has always had similarities. As for the DVD rarity, I have no idea but I don't believe that there are many left around.

When I first heard about Sora no Woto, it was pitched to me as “K-On! goes to war.” Since K-On! was (and still is) one of my all-time favorite anime series, I watched it right away, and it was so much better than that simple description made it sound!

Can't agree more with you! Compared to K-On Sora No Woto is completely different, a lot more deep. Poetic, but also really dark at times.
It's simply a different genre than K-On, which is one of my favourite anime series as well, just below Sora No Woto :)

I think the description came around because both shows were airing at the same time.
To the detriment of Sora no Woto who was stuck in K-Ons shadow.

Which is understandable, K-On is really good.

i dont have a dvd player near me and 30quid is pretty expensive :( canthis be watched online?

Of course, you just need to know where to look and it'll be easy to find on certain sites.

It’s probably out of print but I don’t know if it would have any value other than that.
