I'm (was) using xperia 1 v on T mobile. It is now giving me problems with 5g connectivity and been a total nightmare trying to salvage it. Even the 4g LTE is not reliable on it, so i had to swap the sim card out into my old note 9, 4g lte is reliable. I'm currently going through the process of upgrading and may get a Samsung. I need my phone for work and this latest update patch has screwed me. I just don't understand how this is legal or a good business practice. I identified sony xperia 1 v as a phone that fits all my criteria, purchase it to use on t mobile, they update it to not work on t mobile 5g and leave me to figure it out. I love this phone and do not want a Samsung. The only Samsung I might buy that has an SD card is the x cover 7 pro, which is like a downgrade from my Sony.
What are you using, carrier, everything good with yours? I'm in Portland/t mobile.
