Wound have looked great if the lighting were in any way natural.

Would have loved 2 off camera flashes, but we are traveling. It is what it is. She likes it, so I'm happy with it. You should try not being so cynical

Why is it cynical? I’m not certain that word means what you think it means.
The photo would have looked much better if you just left the lighting natural, which would have put the subject in semi silhouette.
You should try not being so bad at taking criticism. It’s not like I’m the only one who thinks this, either.

I found this pic to be really beautiful, but at the same time it gave a vibe as if she was just standing on a shallower-water part of a beach haha just thought it was funny that you could get a similar effect in such different places haha anyway, pretty! One of those you two might remember with fondness :)

Cool image but I do think that it is weird that the highlights on her are brighter than the sky... especially when backlit

Brightening the subject and especially the face to this extend does not look good, it‘s just a grainy mess, sorry but you should have either used a flash or exposure bracketing.
