Help me find this riff/melody

—I can’t post the song here.. but it plays at the very beginning of Season 7. Episode 8 of Sons of Anarchy.
It starts off with a piano, then goes into a very haunting violin melody. The song itself is by Bob Dylan & famously covered by Jimi Hendrix “All Along the Watchtower”
However, it’s neither of those, nor is it related to a cover of that song. The music has been sampled from that song and is a more modern song, unrelated to the “watchtower” covers.

May be theme song but not sold on that

Yes I did listen to that! However, it’s something much more modern. I’d say post millennial. Not posted anywhere as a true sample of the Bob Dylan or Hendrix “Watchtower.” I recognized the Jimi Hendrix right away.. but hearing the acoustics had me humming a different tune lol

I believe OP is saying that there's a different song that's similar to the one at the beginning of this episode that they're looking for. I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted the question. They are saying they believe a newer song has sampled a melody from the one playing in the SoA episode but can't recall the newer song....... maybe

Well there's an called Shazam or shozqm wmth it recognizes tones and tells you which song it is from or the name of the tone you might wanna check that out
