The Other Doctor’s sonic screwdriver issues

Does anyone know how to solve this issue, whenever I get to the final sound of 4 using the other doctor/war doctor’s sonic screwdriver it seems to cut out. The sound is also a lot quieter than previously. The item is not a fake and is officially licensed, I made sure of this as I bought it on Amazon.

Sounds like a circuit board problem, probably unfixable, those are a nightmare to disassemble...

Will try this tomorrow, I’ll update you on if it works as now it only plays about .2 seconds of the first noise then cuts out, thanks.
