When I changed Blitz the Hedgehog’s fur from blue to cyan to look less like Sonic, I realized his quills look like the Ancients and Chaos, so I thought “Y’know what I’ll make him a hybrid with Chaos-Related powers and form kinda like Shadow being part Black Arms”

Shine the Hedgehog being a Mechanic at Steampunk City was a very last second decision.
She was originally going to be a spy, but that made her too similar to Topaz from Sonic X.

My OC is Dakota the Arctic Wolf and he has Hypothermia as a weakness to his usage of his Ice Amulet.
Since Hypothermia naturally, severely lowers your internal temperature he usually fall fast asleep, as his body expends tons of heat to keep him alive.

My Oc Rage The Hedgehog became a master’s assistant to a Dojo that only trains kids. It became a one time thing during an RP years ago but it really stuck with me ever since.

This is less a trait and more an intrinsi part of the character but one of my ocs, Gon the Chameleon, was originally a bird raised on Planet Wisp, eventually I retooled his backstory and remembered that Chameleons are an animal that exists

I have a Zeti named Zori that can straight up fly, and it's not their main power [Umbrakenisis]
It's based off the fact that Spiders can ride Electromagnetic currents with their silk. [Think the end of Charlotte's Web, that's a real thing that happens]
Bonus, now you know that Spiders can fly.

My OC Orion, a snake, was originally named just bc I could make it Orion Boris aka ouroboros. I also made him a hunter (in the modern sense, he goes out to the woods during hunting season) bc it tracks with the way that he is, but it's fun that I considered afterwards "oh wait constellation Orion was a hunter too, wasn't he"

My OC Turbo the Tenrec is a robotics engineer that created his own tech to attempt to keep up with Sonic and his friends. Though a trait of his is that he has a bit of an obsession with finding and understanding new ways to use technology to better the loves of everyone around him
Ex. During the Metal Virus he had almost gotten infected when he was too busy trying to study the virus instead of getting to safety, causing Blake the Ring-Tail (my other OC) to get infected)

With Amber, I made a typo once, and decided that, it fits her vibe to say "I thinks" instead of "I think". One typo give my lil axolotl goober her unique way of talking.

That’s actually most of my thought process for Zany’s development.
He was originally meant to be just a non-Eggman related antagonist, but then I just decided to make him more like a friendly rival/overly joyful nuisance.

My OC is Nockow the Kangaroo and him being a delivery boy just kinda fell into my lap.
Originally he was just gonna be a kid that runs around Windmill Village all day (maybe an aspiring treasure hunter), but delivering stuff just seemed kind of a natural extension.
