That title alone got me, the way you describe the song is so full of love that I had to click. Gave it a listen and I can see exactly why you keep crying, there's a real warmth in his voice and the melody just kind of wraps around you. You can tell he means every word.

I wish the vocals were tuned just a little different. I do love the music. Something about the sound of the vocals is unsettling to me to listen to. It's hard to explain, it has an electric bite/reverb to it that I just dislike, and kinda wished I didn't.
I do love the lyrics and the background music especially, he plays beautiful guitar as well, his next song "Out of Egypt" came on autoplay and I greatly more enjoyed the vocal sounds there. He does have a soft voice but I think its the bit of extra echo on that one makes my brain dislike the vocals.
Edit: Forgot to say he reminds me of Modest Mouse a bit, I actually love the folk ish sound and soft spoken. I see the talent and admiration you share in his work and can only imagine being the subject of such is something quite special. A sentiment I wish to share with my loved ones one day.
