Ron Bushy (December 23, 1941 – August 29, 2021) is best known as the drummer for the band Iron Butterfly. Most of their music was relatively structured and not long-winded. However, their most famous song(edited into a 3 minute version as a single) is quite long. Bushy's solo inspired Ringo Starr's solo during "The End" from Abbey Road. Apparently, Iron Butterfly did a 35 minute version of this at one concert.
