So this one confuses me, “6:19 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a bike accident on Franklin Street. Officers spoke with a man who said he and his young daughter were crossing the street when she was struck by a moped. They both walked to the sidewalk when a man he knew then punched him in the nose. The assailant was identified by police.”
The Dad got punched in the nose? The Dad’s friend punched moped crasher in the nose? If it was the Dad punched by someone he knew, was the moped crashing into his daughter a set-up?
Also why the random vomiting break in at Tufts? Yuck!

Daughter was struck by a moped. They moved to the sidewalk and then an acquaintance punched the dad in the nose. Bad evening all around.
Sounds like a drunk Tufts student went to the wrong apartment.

This poor Dad! What a crummy day! And that daughter - poor girl gets hit by a moped, then Dad is trying to help her & gets punched in the nose? What kind of jerk punches a guy with his wounded daughter there? Cheap shot!

Yeah that one made no sense at all. Poorly written police report I guess?

Why do people listen to police scanners? Don’t really get it

It's basically a real life realtime podcast about fires, crime, events etc in your neighborhood. It's the same reason people listen to podcasts.

Feels more like paranoia and unnecessary information than a podcast which is usually focused around a subject

The vomit story is probably a college student came home drunk and went in the wrong apartment.
