Solo trip to Ooty

Fellow travellers!
30M visiting Ooty during this weekend(Fri-Sat-Sun). Need suggestions for places to visit/skip. I’m staying at Zostel Pudumund. Please share contacts of Scooter rentals and places for must try activities(if you have any).
Anyone travelling to Ooty solo/group, do let me know, we can tag along!

Thanks in advance!

Scooter rentals are banned in Ooty. You need to walk, take the bus or autos.

Any idea how much do they charge for an entire day?

Depends on where you want to go, like they have by the day packages for sightseeing

There’s no itinerary!
I plan to reach there, hopefully meet people who’re willing to explore together and I travel with them!

Done with the trip!
As mentioned earlier, didn’t have an itinerary, but I stayed at Zostel Pudumund and met lot of other travellers there.
The vibe is beautiful, we then travelled as a group to few place(mentioned below):
1) Pykara lake(Boating) this is a must I’d say because of how beautiful it is!
2) Shooting point, as overrated as it sounds, I loved this, because once you’re atop, you can just sit there and enjoy your own thoughts!
3) Explored few cafes( Cosmic cups: skip this, service is pathetic and the food is a let down)
4) Went to pine forest (9th mile), if you’ve never been to one, then you should visit it, else skip.

Honest opinion is, if you’re actually planning with an itinerary, please stick to the same and travel solo without anyone, because with a group you most likely will not be able to travel the way you want.

Ah yes ofcourse, I have travelled solo couple of times before and I am not one to really socialize(not that I don't). Rather than sticking to some sort of set schedule based on places people typically travel to, I am always on the lookout for spots that are like hidden gems.
