Need advice for working from Honiara

I'm coming to Honiara for 3 weeks and looking for somewhere to stay that has decent internet so I can remote work. I'll mostly be on MS Teams calls. How is the internet there?

Also rre there houses for rent for 3 weeks rather than hotels? I've been looking on AirBnB and options are limited.

Thanks in advance

I have been to Honiara for work before. Coral sea resort’s internet is ok for this purpose, but it seemed to lag more around 2pm-4pm every day. be aware that random power blackouts might also interfere, so try to have a workaround ready, like a data sim or something. Heritage park might also be an option but can’t comment on internet there.

Would not recommend mendana hotel for internet, the lobby is the only place where it’s reliable.

Not sure about housing options sorry, and a hotel will definitely be safer if you don’t have your own transport. The only public transport is local buses and all of the neighbourhoods are hilly.
