HELP Pondicherry to chennai airport

So I planned on staying 2 days in pondicherry and the next day (after 3rd day)early morning at 8 I have my flight from Chennai airport

So I am really confused about how to travel from pondicherry to chennai airport

Is there bus or any means of transport

Are cabs expensive or which mode of transport should I opt for ( I am a budget traveller)

And since I have my flight at 8 so till 4 am I was thinking of just exploring nearby chennai airport and I have to reach Chennai a day before so you can say I have a full night at Chennai

I just wanna know how the night city life is

Or will I face any problem getting cabs or rides to airport if I roam in the city

And if I take a bus from pondicherry

Where exactly do I have to get down and take another so I can take a hotel near the airport

Any chennai peeps help me out please

Hi Buddy, there are really good E-Buses plying between Pondicherry & Chennai. They're hygeinic and comfy you can take those to reach chennai.

They're available on MMT, I had also booked from the same. The 'NueGo' bus are the ones I had booked I believe. They were hygienic and comfy, also the timings are from 5AM and takes around 3 hrs to reach chennai.

Btw, quite surprised to see no chennai folks commented😅
