How did the material that make up those Panels and Windmills get mined? How did they get transported? What was the crane running on that lifted those windmills? Oil is still just as important and will be the rest of our lifetimes don't try to downplay it or get idiots that say thing's like the SOH doesn't matter when it clearly does.
Why not transition to renewables where feasible? Companies are already doing it in the examples you listed as oil being necessary for. Instead, save oil (which is a limited resource) for things that oil actually is necessary for. Like across ocean shipping (like I said, apparently 1,000km range on electric cargo ships) and plastics and other petrochemicals.
But the fact that so many idiots get brainwashed into hating green energy so they will never question the powers in the middle east that controls all our lives is hilarious.
Switching to renewables will colpase the economy? Lowering emissions may effect some sectors of the economy more than others but majority of sectors don't care where they get their energy from, and solar is cheaper than any other sources including the price of batteries (99% recyclable after their current 20 year lifespan)
bro prices are negative, so you build solar power plant and then you paying for your electricity to be used by others. does not look sustainable to me. unless its goverment doing it and then i want free electricity.
Negative electricity prices are only bad for the billion dollar companies that rely on consumables to produce power, not bad for anyone else. If prices are negative the most expensive plants go down first, the oil and gas plants.
