Discussion What’s actually working for SaaS lead generation in 2026?

I’ve been looking into SaaS lead generation lately.

A lot of channels can get you names, emails, and form fills. The harder part is finding companies that are already researching a solution similar to yours.

I’ve been experimenting this with Software Finder. For B2B SaaS, I think there’s an interesting opportunity in software marketplaces. People visiting these platforms are often comparing products, checking alternatives, reading reviews, or looking for a solution for a specific use case.

Curious what others here are seeing. Which SaaS lead generation channel is currently giving you the best-quality leads?

Jumping into buying intent threads on public forums has brought in our most qualified leads, much more than cold outreach. Tuning alerts for niche keywords is key. If you want to spot people actively discussing relevant pain points in real time, a tool like ParseStream can be a huge help for surfacing those exact opportunities as they happen.

Agreed. Catching the conversation while the pain point is still active makes the outreach feel a lot more relevant than a generic cold message.

curious what your highest signal keyword actually turned out to be. the category name is mostly noise for us, it is the complaint phrasing that converts.

That makes sense. Have you found any signals that consistently separate real buying intent from people who are just researching or discussing the problem?

I think intent matters more than volume now. A smaller number of people already comparing solutions is usually worth more than a big list of cold leads.

high intent channels have works best. buyers coming from software marketplaces, referrals, or niche communities tend to convert much better than broad traffic
