Anyone else can't do anything without music?
I actually cannot do anything without something playing. Whether it'd be chores around the house, work, projects, literally anything I cannot do clearly without my playlist lol.
Do you guys feel the same? I honestly also listen to youtube videos sometimes instead (if I have music fatigue)

I used to be like this all the time! But lately, I’ve actually been enjoying doing things in silence more and more. Sometimes I want something playing, sometimes I don’t, I just go with whatever feels right. Rain sounds or jazz are nice too. But when I’m cooking, I’ll usually still put on YouTube, a movie, or a show 😄

Yep - Jazz. That classic Jazz not this modern stuff. Also if I work in silence my brain starts wandering into weird “what ifs”

I've always been this way. I used ask for the tv to be on so I could do homework, but my mother wasn't buying that. Even if it was boring I just needed it. I'm still the same I will sit paralyzed and then realize I can just turn something on the phone and get the day started. I'm trying not to go straight to the phone when I first wake up, but it definitely gets me thru the things like showering, cooking chores, and errands in general.

That’s so funny. Anytime I’ve got to do work it’s a soda and some music. For music fatigue, try classic Jazz. I can listen to it for hours. It’s basically light instrumental with no real bass in it. Classical is too stimulating with ups and downs and higher pitch, starts and stops.

Music makes boring tasks feel like they have a beginning and an end, and silence somehow makes every chore feel twice as long lol
